Promises è una storica collaborazione tra il musicista elettronico e compositore Floating Points e il gigante del sassofono Pharoah Sanders, dal 26 marzo su Luaka Bop.
L'album è stato registrato da Floating Points e Sanders insieme a Los Angeles e si avvale della collaborazione della London Symphony Orchestra, registrata presso gli Air Studios di Londra, e delle opere d'arte dell'acclamata artista Julie Mehretu, che il 25 marzo inaugurerà una personale al Whitney Museum of American Art di New York.
