Questa settimana vede l'uscita del quinto album dei Deerhunter 'Monomania'.
Una nuova line-up (con aggiunte del bassista Josh Mckay e del chitarrista Frankie Broyles) riconvocata nel gennaio 2013 presso Rare Book Studio di Brooklyn, New York.
Prodotto da Nicholas Vernhes e Bradford Cox, Monomania porta la band a ricordare la sua Scrappy punk estetica; un perfetto, notturno album garage rock pieno di suoni vintage e nebbiosi della chitarra che li definisce.
