Mad Professor è un artista molto prolifico avendo contribuito o prodotto quasi duecento album, e avendo collaborato con artisti di fama mondiale, sia reggae (come Lee "Scratch" Perry, Sly & Robbie, Horace Andy e Pato Banton) che al di fuori dai confini della musica giamaicana (come il duo inglese Massive Attack).
Il "professore matto" ha prodotto oltre 130 album dal 1979 ad oggi, molti dei quali dub, come la celebre serie "Dub me crazy" che negli anni '80 ha contribuito ad estendere la "mania" del dub anche fuori dai circuiti del reggae.
Da sempre musicalmente versatile, la firma di Mad Professor negli anni '90 e' stata molto richiesta anche nel mercato dei remix. Infatti oltre ai grandi artisti reggae della sua etichetta (Maka B fra tutti), hanno beneficiato del suo "tocco" anche Lee Perry, Massive Attack, Jah Shaka Official, Sade,The Orb, Almamegretta e moltissimi altri.
Nel suo dub-show Mad Professor utilizza un ADAT a 8 tracce, un rack di effetti, ed un mixer per combinare il tutto, filtrando, equalizzando e mixando dal vivo.
Le tracce originali vengono cosi' follemente trasfigurate dal vivo, reinventate in tempo reale anche grazie all'apporto dei vocalist che accompagnano sempre Mad Professor nei suoi dub show. Gli MC e i cantanti, scelti tra la prestigiosa scuderia artistica dell'Ariwa, possono variare in base alla disponibilità ed alle uscite discografiche del momento
Stilisticamente si tratta di una proposta fondata sulla tradizione roots reggae del dub, ma che non manchera' di spaziare in varie direzioni, dalla dancehall al drum'n'bass, come spesso succede in alcune delle produzioni di Mad Professor.

Già Miraflowers aka Aziz Pablo, founder of Miraflowers Crew and Associazione Serengeti, plays and produces roots reggae Music starting from scratch. His last official works are for Rockers International/Suns Of Dub label with Roots By Nature's Revelation Time EP. He is also strongly involved in Bangarang Fest (big event or reggae concerts and sound system culture) in Torino as well as for Bassline Records / Pressure Dub Sound (two 10” vynils and one CD released), and a lot of unreleased surprising tracks coming out from his works lay hidden in his vault. Greatest gigs are Jah Shaka open act in Rome in 2006, and Notting Hill Carnival on Jah Observer’s corner in 2010. He is also FoH sound engineer for the famous ska band The Bluebeaters since 2015. Hundreds of djsets and live performances make his experience grows til nowadays djset, his record box is filled with fresh releases, big anthems and heavy surprising dubplates from jamaican roots to uk stepper.
Miraflowers project was born as hip hop crew in 1996 when the first demo-tape by S4 aka Tigerman aka DubTerror and Daigo Daimon aka AlienDee came out and it had a big success in the whole italian underground scene. At the time it was a big crew active in all the disciplines of hip hop, so there were djs, mcs, writers, and break dancers.
Slowly the crew get passioned with reggae music and in 2000 they started playng dancehall reggae in the main social clubs of Torino. Since then, a lot of collaborations with the biggest artist of the world, mainly english or jamaicans: Jah Shaka, Channel One, Zion Train, Mikal Rose, Johnny Osbourne, Earl 16, Buju Banton, Anthony B, General Levy, Ranking Joe, Afrikan Simba, Tena Stelin, Kenny Knots, Brother Culture, YT, Basque Dub Foundation... and some release too aon Deep Root, Heartical, Ayamba, Bassline and 4Weed labels...Besides the official releases, in the Miraflowers' bags there are a lot of exclusive recordings and special dub plates of artist from all over the world. So fresh tunes, roots vibes, dub consciousness, mash up mood, lovers rock, bad bwoy raggamuffin, rasta culture, jah jah teachings, rub a dub stylee, hardcore bashment, all times classics, one drop anthems, jamaican updated news, 7 inch singles, 10 inch dubplates, 12 inch maxisingles and long playing, ganja smokers, I-talian stallions... you should expect dis and more by the Miraflowers Crew.
